LAKE ST. CLAIR CLEANUP

  • Harrison Twp Tucker Sr Center Parking Lot 26980 Ballard Street Harrison Township, MI, 48045 United States (map)

Join The Cleanup Club and Dee's Green Cleaning for a community cleanup! 🌎

The intention of this event is to celebrate a DECADE of green cleaning thanks to Dee’s Green Cleaning! And what better way to celebrate than by cleaning up a local spot that could use some extra love. 🥳

GIVEAWAY FUN:

To give back to our volunteers helping at the cleanup, Dee's Green Cleaning will be giving away two $50 gift certificates for their green cleaning services: one for current clients + one for non-clients in DGC range of service 🧹🧼

Additionally! We will be gifting volunteers with 5 quart sized native plants in an effort to help restore our local wildlife habitats. (Limited supplies.) 🌼🦋🌱

WHAT TO KNOW:

  • Cleanup materials will be provided.

  • Please wear clothing that you don't mind potentially getting a little dirty.

  • Our goal is to cleanup our community while having fun!

  • Anyone & everyone is welcome!

  • Rain or shine!

WHERE TO MEET:

  • We’ll be meeting at the Harrison Twp Tucker Sr Center's (26980 Ballard Street Harrison Township, MI 48045) parking lot. From here, we'll walk together along the Clinton River Spillway leading into Lake St. Clair while cleaning up along the way.

MEET YOUR HOSTS:

The Cleanup Club is a nonprofit founded by environmental activist & artist, Hannah Tizedes, dedicated to educating communities on Great Lakes plastic pollution while having fun through cleanups, collaborations, conversations & creativity. Ask her about upcoming events! 🪣🧤

Dee's Green Cleaning believes our actions today will affect generations to come - and we agree! They provide high quality AND sustainable cleaning services without the harmful chemicals, all while minimizing waste so you can enjoy a hassle & toxin free life. Ask Dana about their local services! 🌿

We hope to see you there! 😊
