Join The Cleanup Club and Belle Isle Swim Club for a morning of beach cleaning, connecting with community, and soaking up the beauty of a Detroit River sunrise! 🌊

Belle Isle Swim Club meets every Friday on Belle Isle Beach between 7-8:45am. They saw the potential for the perfect recipe when combining summer mornings, water, strong community, and strong coffee! It’s a great way to meet new people, relax before work, and connect with nature. We’re super excited to be partnering up to add a little beach cleanup fun to the morning agenda and give back to the community, with community!

WHAT TO KNOW:

• Our goal is to cleanup the beach while having fun!

• Everyone & anyone is welcome!

• All volunteers are required to complete a DNR waiver upon arrival.

• All cleanup materials will be provided.

• BYOFM or “Bring Your Own Favorite Mug” as BISC says! Coffee will kindly be provided by James Oliver Coffee while supplies last. ☕️

• We will also have water for anyone with a mug, cup, reusable water bottle or whatever vessel you want to refill to stay hydrated! 🌎
