ANN ARBOR COMMUNITY CLEANUP

  • Gallup Park 3000 Fuller Road Ann Arbor, MI, 48105 United States (map)

Join The Cleanup Club for an Ann Arbor community cleanup along the Huron River, in partnership with Oceanic Global and Corona USA! 🌊

Help us protect our local waterways and connect with like-minded community members during A2ZERO Week! Together, we’ll be cleaning up Gallup Park and the riverbanks of the Huron River to prevent plastic pollution from entering our waterways — and ultimately, the Great Lakes.

WHAT TO KNOW:

  • Our goal is to cleanup the community while having fun!

  • Everyone & anyone is welcome!

  • All cleanup materials will be provided.

  • Please bring a reusable water bottle so you can stay hydrated with provided water refills without the single-use plastic! 🌎

WHERE TO MEET:

  • Meet us at Gallup Park (3000 Fuller Road Ann Arbor, MI 48105) — exact location here.

ABOUT THE CLEANUP PARTNERSHIP:

  • Oceanic Global and Corona are on a mission to clean up 100 beaches and remove 1 million pounds of plastic waste by 2025. Since 2021, Oceanic Global has partnered with Corona USA to host a nationwide series of volunteer Community Cleanups across the country as part of the ‘Protect Our Beaches’ program. Each year the program includes a series of Community Cleanups which are supported by mission-aligned local NGO partners. The Cleanup Club is proud to be one of those partners!

  • In June 2020, the City of Ann Arbor’s plan to achieve a just transition to community-wide carbon neutrality, known as A2ZERO, was unanimously adopted by City Council. Each year, the Office of Sustainability and Innovations organizes A2ZERO Week to commemorate the passing of the plan and to celebrate the work done by the City and our many collaborators in the community. This event takes place during A2ZERO Week 2025!
